The theory that Kabutops is the "Prehistoric Pokémon" that eventually turned into Genesect is one of my favourites! As far as I know the only official hint we have at it being true is the background of these two cards being the same. I love when a franchise entertains lore like this is a mysterious way. 😄😄

Only 1 shiny out of 45 raids but Day 1 was awesome!! Plenty of energy and made some cool friends - one of which got a Shundo!! On to day 2 🫡🫶

What a weekend. Genuinely one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
The games were incredible. I won a heap of matches and honestly had a blast doing it — close calls, clutch plays, and those heart-pounding moments where everything comes down to one decision. Even the tougher games were fun. There’s something special about competing against people who are just as passionate about the game as you are.
I cannot say enough good things about the Pokémon community in Melbourne. Everyone was so warm and welcoming — I got chatting with so many amazing players between rounds, swapped stories about wild games, laughed a lot, and came away with a bunch of new friends. It’s the kind of vibe you just don’t get anywhere else.
If you’re even slightly considering attending a regional, just go. Pack your bag, hype yourself up, and soak in every second of it. It’s so worth it.
